Privacy policy
What personal data this website handles, why, and your rights.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Who is responsible
The controller is ARINITSOFT PC S.R.L. (CUI 40283135), Str. Nicolae Titulescu, Drăgănești-Olt, Olt County, Romania, the company that operates ELARID. You can reach us at contact@elarid.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the website elarid.com and emails you send to its addresses. It does not cover the ELARID application or any documents a customer sends under a pilot. Those would be governed by a separate pilot agreement.
What this site does not do
The site is static. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: its fonts are served by the site itself. It has no forms and no accounts. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to check that a visit is not automated; such a cookie needs no consent and is not used to track you.
What data we process
- Technical request data. When you open a page, our hosting provider processes your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the time of the request, to deliver the page and protect the site.
- Emails. If you write to us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To answer your message, including a demo request or a security report: our legitimate interest in answering people and companies who contact us (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- To deliver the site and keep it secure: our legitimate interest in a working, protected website (art. 6(1)(f)).
- You do not have to give us any personal data. If you do not write to us, we cannot answer you.
Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. It is processed by the following categories of processors acting on our behalf:
- the hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare, Inc., through Cloudflare Pages);
- the email routing provider (Cloudflare Email Routing).
- Cloudflare also processes some of this data as a controller, for the security of its own network; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Emails sent to us are delivered to a Gmail mailbox. Google processes them under its own terms, as an independent provider; see Google’s privacy policy.
Transfers outside the EEA
Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States. Cloudflare states that transfers to it rely on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found adequate, with the EU standard contractual clauses as a fallback. Google LLC is also based in the United States and states that transfers to it rely on its certification under the same Framework. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards at contact@elarid.com.
How long we keep it
- Emails and correspondence with us are kept for no longer than 24 months after the last relevant interaction, unless they become part of a contractual relationship or need to be kept longer to comply with a legal obligation, handle a security incident, or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
- Technical request data: kept by our host for a short period, for security and delivery, under its own log policy. We keep no separate logs.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable form where the law provides it, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, write to contact@elarid.com.
You can also complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP): www.dataprotection.ro, B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, sector 1, București.
We have not appointed a data protection officer; write to contact@elarid.com.
Automated decisions
We make no decisions about you by automated means, and we do no profiling through this site.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is on this page, with the date it was last updated.
